About the Acupuncturist, L.Ac., C.SMA
To my dear patients,
Every year in the fall, we experience a transition from the expansive, warm days of summer to the contemplative and cooler days of autumn. As we slow down and take time to reflect, it is also the perfect time for all of us concentrate on the Metal Element — to breath in and out, give and receive. Just as metals such as gold and silver give value to the earth, our internal metal helps sustain our own sense of self-worth and our limitations.
After 17 years practicing massage and later acupuncture, it is time for me to make changes in my own life. With a little sadness and much excitement, I am leaving the Bay Area and letting go of my practice. I am moving out of the country with my husband who is newly retired. We will spend a few years in Europe and we are looking forward to this adventure.
After a very careful search, I have found two wonderful healers in a married team who will take over the Healing Point Acupuncture Clinic. I want to introduce you to my colleague, Xin Xia, Licensed Acupuncturist. She is very familiar with the Balance Method of my favorite mentor, Dr. Richard Tan. Xin is certified in Sport Medicine Acupuncture and has studied auricular acupuncture with my other mentor, Rafael Nogier. Her husband, Yong Tao is an herbalist with 40+ years of family heritage in Chinese Medicine, martial arts and other ancient Chinese healing arts. Together they are ready to take care of you and carry on the tradition of outstanding patient care here at the clinic.
My last day for treating patients is September 13, 2019. I will be able to meet you in person until October 1, 2019; after this date Xin Xia will have full custody of all medical records related my former practice.
You can contact Xin Xia by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the website www.HealingPointAcupunctureClinic.com.
To all my dear patients, I am proud of your progress and dedication to living a balanced life through acupuncture. I am keeping all of you in my heart and wish you all health and happiness. It has been an honor to serve you.
